Cookie policy
This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies sleepeers.com uses, what they are for and how you can accept, reject or change your mind about them.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. Browser local storage (localStorage), which we also use, works in a similar way. In this policy, “cookies” refers to both technologies.
2. Cookies we use
Technical or necessary (always on). Without them, the site and the cart do not work. They do not require your consent.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| sl-cart (local storage) | Sleepeers | Stores the products in your cart and your shipping country | Until you empty the cart or clear your browser data |
| sl-consent (local storage) | Sleepeers | Remembers your cookie preferences | 12 months |
| Stripe cookies | Stripe | Security and fraud prevention on the payment page (checkout.stripe.com) | As per Stripe’s policy |
Analytics (only if you accept). They help us understand, in aggregate, how many people visit the site and which pages work best.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga, _ga_* | Google (Google Analytics 4) | Distinguish visitors and measure site usage | 24 months |
| sl-utm (session storage) | Sleepeers | Remembers the campaign or website you came from (UTM parameters and referring domain) so we know where waiting-list sign-ups come from | 30 minutes (deleted when you close the tab) |
Advertising (only if you accept). They allow us to show you Sleepeers ads on other websites and social networks and measure their effectiveness.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _fbp | Meta (Facebook and Instagram) | Show and measure ads | 3 months |
Analytics and advertising cookies are not set until you click «Accept» or switch them on in «Settings».
3. How to accept, reject or withdraw consent
On your first visit you will see a notice with three options: Accept, Reject and Settings. Rejecting is as easy as accepting.
You can change your mind at any time using the «Cookie preferences» link in the footer. You can also delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings.
We will ask you again every 12 months or if we change the cookies we use.
4. More information
